Hi Admin,

The Android build doesn't use menus does it?

If you recall I use a custom menuitem and the API on WM to run some code depending on key sequence.

So I set volume to 0. Push center to enter. Displays menu name. Then read next 3 keypresses and compare against 'password' sequence. If sequence matches then display success and run another program... if fail display fail..

Would this be possible on Android with the current API?

I would like to get away from WM as I would prefer something more open source and I would love to get Nexus One so I could drop carrying around the WM and iPhone and get back to one handset...

I carry the WM for just two apps, google latitude (iPhone wont run in backgraound, at least without hacking) and smartwatchm.

Thanks

There's no menu.

OpenWatch offers some API set (http://www.smartmadsoft.com/forum/index.php?action=vthread&forum=9&topic=151) so I believe you should be able to create similar tool on Android.

Wow, looking at your twitter on WM7 I think I'm timing this just right.. some big steps backwards there that I think will hurt them, at least from a dev point of view.

I can see a lot of people jumping on Android now if they hadn't before.
