What an amazing app! Got it running successfully with my BB Bold (sprint) and the MBW-150 Music edition...

Have a question that I didn't find already answered in the forum...forgive me if I overlooked the answer.

I want to turn off the notification on my Sony watch for incoming emails. Which setting do I change back to "unspecified" in the application's permission? Maybe posting a cross reference of what the individual permissions coincide to?

Thanks in advance.....

It's not configurable. I don't have much time for updating (but maybe around Christmas).

Finally I got my MBW-150 Music Ed. and it works perfectly with my BB 9700 Bold, V. 5.0.0.979.

After unsuccesful tries of installing OW, I found the alternative files on page 6 in this thread. That did the trick!
Maybe you should post them on the starting post, too...

Now there are still two questions:
1) Will there be any OS 6-support?
2) Is it possible to change the date format on the watch or is it one string or watch-related?

Going to donate now....

Regards, Mike

I have the same question as MikeZ:

-Any planned OS 6 support?

And the same as vlman:

-Any planned support for "Whatsapp"?

Thanks,
Al

OpenWath works fine on BlackBerry Torch (OS 6). I quickly tested connection, calls and SMS.

have tested functionability for os6

1. silence/reject calls working
2. sms display working
3. email disaplay working
4. works with beejive IM(alerts on new IM in idle/background mode)
5. able to retrieve number of emails/calls unread/missed, battery percentage

for point 5, the watch is able to retrieve number of emails unread only for default email. it does not include unread emails from other mail boxes.

Hello,
First of all thanks for this very nice software, I'll definitely make a donation.
I am using OpenWatch on a BB 9800 running OS6. It works almost pefectly, except I am experiencing the same problem that Belcore had about a year ago.
At program launch I get the message "net.rim.device.api.io.IOPortAlreadyBoundException: SMS Port already in use". This, as far as I understood, means that some other software is preventing the SMS from being detected and notified to the watch when they arrive.

I see nothing amongst the installed applications that could intercept the sms messages. Any ideas about how to debug which application could be causing this?

Thanks!
Giovanni

Sometimes i get a Whitescreen with a message saying 'Verbindung wird hergestellt' ('Connecting' in english).

This is blocking any key of my Blackberry Storm 1 with 5.0.0.641. I guess its happening whenever the Blackberry restarts itself, but iam not sure.

Is where any way to get a menu on this screen or Ansehung so the keys can still be used?
