Hello, Moneytoo?

I'm very happy to use Openwatch for blackberry~

But latest version(0.1.7) which works with unicode doesn't work with OS 5.0 on bold 9000.

It still shows ???? characters with my Korean Contact.

OS 5.0 uses different font for Korean with OS 4.6

Different font seems that the reason that it shows ???.

Would you check it out with OS 5 ?

One more Question

Do you have update plan for other notification like BBMessenger, Ubertwitter, MSN Messenger, Google Talk, whatsapp.... etc

I used smartwatch for WM with SE X-1 couple months ago,
But Openwatch keeps pretty stabler connection with my bold 9000 :D

I really appreciate for your efforts !!1

Sooner or later, when I make Paypal account, I'll make a donation ;)

Thank you !!

Hi there,

Do you have any plans for making BBport compatible with the Prada Link?

Thank you in advance.

It the next watch on the list.

I found the problem on 5.0 (very probably a BB bug) and I'm trying to fix it somehow.

Edit: Should be fixed.

Hi,

Great work have used you on Windows, was waiting for iPhone (still hoping) but work just gave me a Blackberry Bold 9700. Installed Open Watch as per instructions and all went well with my MBW-100.

The problem I am having is when I turn the phone off and back on I have to reinstall OpenWatch and go through everything again to make it work.

What am I doing wrong??

Thanks

Why do you have to reinstall OpenWatch? Do you have troubles starting the app (any error?) or connecting the watch?

When I turn the phone back on it says that OW needs the bluetooth to be enabled which I say yes to.

I then start OW and it asks me to press a button on my watch. I do this but nothing happens, I have tried restarting OW and deleting my watch from the phone and adding it again but to no avail.

If you have followed all the steps on the first page (setting permissions) just try turning the watch BT off and on.

Hi,

Thanks for helping.

Tried turning bluetooth on/off no luck

I have gone through the instructions again and when you say edit permissions and turn everything to "Allow" I have 3 tabs named "RIM", "MIDP groups" and "MIDP JSRs".

I can expand and change the 3 headings (Connections, Interactions and User Data) to ALLOW on the RIM tab.

I expanded all the other tabs and turned them to ALLOWED.

First time worked like a dream, connected and set time on watch.

Turned phone off (did not get a disconnection message /vibrate from watch) but the watch and phone did disconnect.

Turned phone on and it said OW needs bluetooth to be enabled so said yes. OW was already running in back ground so I opened it and it said DISCONNECTED, Waiting for connection. Press a button.

Tried that but they did not connect, tried turning bluetooth on/off on both watch first (no luck) then phone (no luck)??

Tried closing OW and restarting, no luck??

Thanks

Gareth

I can duplicate such behavior on BB 9000 with latest official 5.0. I will be looking into this problem.

Workaround 1
Reinsert the BB battery.

Workaround 2
Close OpenWatch before turning off BB (worked for me).

Thanks for letting me know.

Will use the workarounds as love having my phone and watch back together again.

I just got my MBW-150 classic watch. At first pairing the watch worked perfectly after that it rejected to work.

After hard reset it works fine. Thanks for the great app.

After testing the open watch application, I found out by new incoming mail, it always shows the first e-mail when I paired the watch with the phone for the first time.
Not the right e-mail that just arrived on my blackberry 8520.

Is this a known problem?

Thanks

Great job for this wonderful program

I just got a SonyEricsson MBW-150 Classic Update watch
using it with BB bold running OS 5.0.0.411
everything works like a charm except SMS notification and calendar notification
Nothing happens when I receive an sms or calendar reminder

Another question is : If the email preview disappears, can I see it again?

thankssss for you work

best regards
Peter
