Hey there!

Thanks for developing this great app.

I own a 8900 and a MBW100 and a Prada Link.
My Prada Link doesn't seem to work at all, but i didn't had any expectation of that.
My MBW 100 displays incoming mail/sms etc. as well as incoming calls. It only displays the number at the moment, but not the name listed in the adresbook.

The biggest lack at the moment is that i cannot "silence" of reject incoming calls with the top button.

I just wanted to let you know

Could you please how the phone number is stored in the phonebook and how it is displayed on the watch (what format, are there any spaces or -)?

It's early version but I do plan updating it over time. I will try implement the silence/reject feature.
Currently your watch displays only envelope however I already have prepared code required for displaying text on MBW-100 so it could be ready some time in December.

Feel free to post any other feedback or suggestion.

Thank you for your quick reply

The phone numbers are stored like : +31613080***
This is how the number is showed on my watch too.

Although i stored the number as "john doe" or some like that.

Again, thank you very much!

1) Did you followed the installation steps and set the correct application permissions? This is required for call silenting/rejecting and music control (it both uses key injection).

2) What BlackBerry OS version do you have on your BlackBerry?

v4.6.1.310 on my curve 8900

The text works perfectly on my MBW-100 and my 150. As well as the reject button. Thank you very much!

The only thing that still doesn't work is the Caller name on the display. It still displays the number and not the name.

Thanks for updating!

I can't get it to work on my blackberry 8900 with v4.6.1.109 and the MBW-150 classic.

After I did reset the watch it worked, and also did some other bluetooth settings so I am not really shure about what did fix the problem.

But now my settings are:

select serial port profile, and sim acces and data transfer.

And now it working.

/BUGS I have found.

The date is synced 1 moth early; my blackberry is on december but the watch on 11 November.

And also I see only phone number on the watch and not the name.

When somebody calls me name/number on my blackberry and watch is shown after 3 beeps. If I close the program on the blackberry name is on the sec on screen when receiving a call. hope you understand what I mean.

But still I am very very happy as its working !!! great work thx hope to see updates soon.

Oh, I see... I fixed this in Android version but forgot BB.

And also I see only phone number on the watch and not the name.

I will add some debug info for you guys to try to help me find the reason name lookup isn't working.

Might be connected to the previous problem with name lookup.

Thanks for the feedback.

To help with the name lookup I need you to:

1) Download the latest version, start it (no need to connect watch)
2) Try to make a phone call to your BlackBerry
3) After missed/received/rejected phone call, select Test in OpenWatch menu and rewrite the few lines of text
4) Does the "Number of contacts:" matches your contact count?

Here's version with alternative name lookup on incoming call:
http://beta.smartmadsoft.com/bb/OpenWatch.jad
Please test this too (no debug text, just try if the name appears or just number).

Hey,

Still no sign of a name, also no notification of sms (also not on the early version) email works ok.

But the program says number of contacts 263, but the phone has 264 contacts.

After press test:
Lookup: "+31**NUMBER**"
Init ok, Number of lists: 1
Enumeration ok
Number of contacts: 263
AT*SETBC=192,16,1,"xline"

But what I noticed the delay of callerid on the phone is gone this is great also the date is okey. (is it possible to get the date as dd-mm-yyyy?)

Great work THX

NOw if you fix the name thing it would be awsome

I guess I found the problem. The name lookup works with English locale but not with others (Czech, Dutch...). I will try fixing it later.

Updated. Now the callers name should be displayed (with non-English BB interface). I also added notification for calendar events with reminder. Hope it will work.
