You can define your own controls so you can get smartWatchM to control any music player - or any other application. For best functionality, you need version 1.2.4.1 or newer.

Create folder named "media" in \Program Files\smartmadsoft\smartWatchM\

Following file names are supported. Each file is executed when a button is pushed in activated Media controll mode.

media\volup.lnk
media\voldown.lnk
media\next.lnk
media\prev.lnk
media\pause.lnk
media\stop.lnk

Each shortcut (.lnk) can point to any file - or Mortscript file. You can use Mortscript to send messages (key presses) to any running application you want.

Following example sends "navigate key - right" button press to WMP.

SendMessage("Windows Media", 256, 39, 0)
SendMessage("Windows Media", 257, 39, 0)

Update (v1.2.4.2):

New link is supported:

media\start.lnk

This can be used for launching desired player... or anything else you want.

Hello,

I use the new Omni II (I8000).
Pairing with my MBW-150 works fine. Every function that i need works fine except:
MEDIAPLAYER!
First i could not activate the player mode.
After installing the "\media" folder, it is possible to activate the MP mode.

Now my problem is: I can't start, stop fwd and rwd the player (song)

Do you have any solution for my problem.

Btw: What you did with the display: 2 line, full sms read, battery level........is wonderful!!!
I thought i have to litter the watch after change from SE to WM.

I understand the Samsung Omnia IIs Samsung specific mediaplayer is way better than any other 3rd party alternative (or WM player). However, is it controllable through smartWatchM?

Correction, having tried both Win Mo's players and Samsung's on the Omnia II, sound performance wise WM wins hands down. Even more superior when using the TV-out function (Sammy's player simply sounds awful through the TV out). And the WM player is controllable via the watch. Thanks!!
