Features
+ Time display
+ Shows current track title when switching tracks
+ Shows current track title anytime by pressing voice recog. button (on the cable to the left earbud). Second press shows the track artist.
- The headset cannot be used for receiving/making calls because of using the HF profile for track info

(The track display feature works only with Windows Media Player)

Setup
1. Delete HBH-DS980 from BT manager.
2. Enable pairing mode on the DS980 headset.
3. Select Settings -> Device -> SE HBH-DS980.
4. Discover the headset from within smartWatchM (Settings -> Device Setup -> Discover and Pair) and wait for pairing.
5. Open BT manager, select HBH-DS980, refresh available services. Select "Wireless Stereo" and make sure "Hands Free" stays unchecked. Save the setting.
6. Turn off the headset.
7. Return to smartWatchM, select Menu -> Start (Connect).
8. Turn on the headset.
9. Short press the power button. SmartWatchM should connect within 10-15 seconds. Press play button to enable the Wireless Stereo.

Any updates on this "most wanted" device support?

I don't have any major plans for this device. The only news is displaying track info from Pocket Player.

Could you add support for CorePlayer please? I'd really like to use my headset as handsfree too.

CorePlayer: http://forum.corecodec.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1621 No reply so I don't know how to add it.
Handsfree: This is not possible with the current version of smartWatchM.

This is strange, because CP uses WMP stack (even the blank screen wich is buggy like hell when I press volume up/down). Maybe you could make a plugin, wich would make many things easier (in case of there would be a guide for plugins but there isn't afaik). Anyway I bumped your(?) thread
I just don't get the whole coreplayer, it's as slow as a one man open-source project without feedback and such... but it's not free :/

I just tried to make it work on my P525 (didn't install it yet because I use CP and HF). I deleted the shortcuts to HD audio and HF, removed the pairing, reseted my HBH-DS980, selected it in your app then discover and pair. I got this:
Cannot find any unpaired BT watch.
Searching for unpaired devices ... ("MBW-" (0000) etc
What did I do wrong?
Maybe your app doesn't support the Broadcom 1.7.1.9813 BT stack?

Yes, it does not work with Broadcom. Only MS BT stack is supported.

Any news?
I have to say I don't really like the idea of using the headset profile to display the tracks. It feels so unnatural The clock is also strange. If it's connected to a SE i just see the clock and the battery meter, nothing else, and if I play something I always see it's title and I can switch between title, artist, album with the menu button (short press). The damned WMP keeps skipping track after 30 secs anyways...
